1) THE PRECONSULTATION

First, lets talk about your vision! How do you want your empowerment images to look/feel/be displayed? From what you wear, to where and how you want to keep your images, you can have a pre-consultation to answer all your questions (and we will get to know each other better!). I coordinate how we shoot the session with our outcome in mind. Your shoot is carefully planned and designed for YOU and who YOU are. Pre consults, if desired are, done entirely online, AND after you book you will also receive a digital outfit guide to help you plan what you want to highlight, and how you want to feel. Great empowerment shoots begin with trust and a good relationship. Tell us about you and your story and we’ll make the magic happen!

2.) THE SHOOT

The Process

Shoots can be somewhat stressful. From wondering how you’re going to feel, to agonizing over what to wear and how you’re going to look. It may even have been challenging in the past. Sessions here are anything but stressful and serious! Actually, it will be relaxed and most of the time will be spent laughing at dirty jokes and sharing stories. As a matter of fact the more we laugh, the better! When you work with me, you’ll feel confident in your wardrobe, and in your own skin!

Design+You=magic

Shoots take place in our personally designed home studio in Westminster, Md. I work with with natural and studio lighting (and sometimes the color LEDs and fairy lights!) with simple props and comfortable set designs. The studio is unique and sophisticated, while also being relaxed and fun (I love a good dichotomy). It includes an oversized purple chair, a champagne colored mirror, a king size bed set up, flowing curtains and a lot of other neat little details. We focus the Empowerment Session experience around making you feel empowered, comfortable and able to reconnect with your strength. The studio prides itself on being exceptional at making you feel safe and heard while committing to telling your unique and important story with amazing images to have forever.

3) THE REVEAL AND DESIGN APPOINTMENT

WHAT WILL YOU PURCHASE?

This is where your story comes to life! The viewing and ordering/design appointment is the time when you get to see your images for the first time! We sit down together (online from the comfort of your own couch and beverage, or in the studio on our oversized chair and comfy blankets!), and we take the time to oooh and aaaahh over your images and design the right art/collection for your home. This is the time where you will finalize your order, too! I’ll help you sort through your images to create your perfect collection for your needs and wants. I’ll show you the actual size of what the final product will be and pair images together to create a stunning album or wall art. Specializing in albums and portrait boxes, our products are truly unique to you and your personal growth. All of them are sure to make you feel like the badass you absolutely are.

4) DELIVERY INSTALLATION and NEXT TIME

Receiving your art!

About 4 weeks later, your personal Empowerment Session collection will be ready for pick up. After I check it to make sure your order is perfect, I will email you to let you know its here and ready for you! If you need any help or suggestions with hanging your art or prints, I am here to help. Once they’re living in your home you can sit back and enjoy the constant reminder of how amazing you are every day, even the tough ones.

And this doesn’t have to be the end. Just because having an Empowerment session is a life changing experience, it doesn’t mean it has to be a once in a lifetime experience! As you grow and change, you are welcome to come back here and explore your new mindsets and self-appreciation. And we can lean into that and design something special by coordinating your new art pieces and albums with your old ones, and build a lifetime of photographs of your growth. Each session will reflect who you are in that moment and become a legacy of your legendary self, and will lovingly remind you who you have been and who you are now, year after year.
